TOUGH ENOUGH REPORT SHOW III
The show opened with all of the contestant's working out, and the show focused on Jason and Maven during this segment. After the work out the trainee's are told to sit and face forward. "Nobody saw it coming.."
THE SURPRISE
TRIPLE H walked out and got in to the center of the wrestling ring. He looked at the contestant's squarely in the eyes and began by asking them if they were sore, and of course all of the contestant's nodded they were.
Hunter had them get in to the ring to take some bumps. Each of them was required to do the various bumps they had learned when Triple H told them which bump to perform. Darryl was asked to do a back bump and did it and his genitals fell through a hole in his shorts. Triple H jumped on him and informed him his genital had popped out of his shorts through a hole in them. Triple H didn't look pleased. Hunter reminded them all that from the moment they leave the backstage area and enter the ring they are telling a story with their bodies (various highlight's of WWF wrestler's was shown at this point).
Next Triple H works on showing them the correct way to throw a punch and sell the punch. Triple H told Jason if he sold the punch like that in a real match on TV, he would have gotten potatoed by Triple H for real. It wasn't a good job of selling the punch. Triple H complimented Greg on his punches and how they snapped correctly and how he sold the punches as well.
THE SHOOT
Triple H began talking to Bobby Jo about why she wanted to be a wrestler and she told him it was for the "challenge". On the previous two shows it came out the real reason why Bobby Jo was in this competition was to use it as a springboard to get in to "playboy". Triple H went in to his SHOOT MODE with the next segment of the show.
Triple H explained all of the hardships of the business and how these contestant's have been given the greatest gift of a lifetime. And the greatest gift anybody trying to break in to this business could ask for. He told them pro wrestling is a business where you are on the road for 200 days out of the year, you never know what your wife or husband is doing while you are away, you do not get to see your wife, or even see your kids grow up, and when you finally do get a chance to go home the work is not over yet, because you are tired, broken, and battered and now have to play SUPER DADDY or SUPER HUSBAND or SUPER WIFE in order to make up for all the time lost.
The business doesn't really have any breaks and it was a good depiction on what a life as pro wrestler was actually like. All of the sacrifices pro wrestler's make to entertain all of us each day. Triple H said that anybody that had ever spent any time in a major promotions locker room knew what he was saying was the damned truth.
Triple H wasn't done yet, however; it was apparent his words were doing magic with the contestant's and sinking in. Triple H told them to honor and never disrespect this gift they were handed, because if they do, they are actually spitting on everybody who came before them. The veteran's who are so broken down they can't walk, Darren Drosdov (who he explained is a friend of his) who is paralyzed from the neck down, and all of the superstars of today. Triple H told them to not "FUCK" it up and not to disrespect the gift they were handed.
THE HORSE PLAY, BY DARRYL
Darryl obviously has no f'n respect for the business! Darryl obviously has no f'n respect for Darren Drosdov either. But I do! I picked this idiot to be the eventual winner, and frankly, I HOPE he makes it for the next five weeks. Because I want to see Tazz and Al Snow kick this clown's fat ass all around the WWF Training facilities! After Triple H poured his heart and soul out for us during that shoot speech, Darryl decided to clown around after Triple H had just left and put one of the female contestant's in a mock headlock.
Greg called Darryl "a clown" and Victoria said he was "16 years old". It isn't the first time Darryl has made a joke out of this competition and probably isn't the last time he will make an ass out of himself on this show either.
BACK AT HOME, THE PHONE CALLS
The next segment has the contestant's at home talking to their loved one's on the telephone and explaining their daily routine. Nidia talked about how Triple H was "so beautiful", meanwhile Maven was informing his buddy on the other end of the line that Triple H was 270 pounds easily and was "a wall of muscle". Jason seems worried about the competition as he has called his girlfriend and is discussing his fears about the entire thing.
THE NIGHT OUT
It was arranged the contestant's would have a night out on the WWFE, and we see them getting ready to go out. Actually, waiting for Bobby Jo to get ready so they can go out. She's trying to be a model you know and thus it probably takes her quite a bit of time to look decent you know.
A few hours passed and finally she was ready to go out and they all go out and we see Bobby Jo dancing the night away (she's a good dancer at least).
The other contestant's were a bit upset at having to wait for Bobby Jo and discussed how she was only doing this to be in "Playboy" anyway. It seems the rest of the contestant's are not too fond of Bobby Jo.
A LOVE AFFAIR IN THE MAKING?
Chris And Nidia spent a lot of time during the first two shows getting to know each other. Nidia commented that she was forming a bond with him since they hung out a lot back in New York. This is the first serious spark of a "sexual" relationship "Tough Enough" has encountered. Chris and Nidia were alone in the house's hot tub and flirting back and forth.
It really seemed like Chris was going to 'hook up' if he played his cards correctly and didn't blow it. At one point in the hot tub for some reason Chris wanted Nidia to go under the water (maybe he has some sexual fantasy involving a hot tub and a woman going under the water, I don't know!). She didn't want to do it. After they go back and forth playing a bit, she finally agree's she will do it as long as she can do it on her own.
She ducks her head under the water and Chris dunks her head down further in to the water (now I get it, he must be a Bill Clinton fan and was attempting to react the Lewinsky/Clinton Bob For Bill's Cigar). Nidia was not to excited about being dunked down deeper in to the water and she asked for him to stop. Well, any good boy carrying his sexual harassment 101 manual will understand that if a girl says, STOP. Well, you best be stopping boy! But not Macho Chris.
He had an agenda and he kept on going. Nidia decided it was time to call it quits and got out of the hot tub and explained she said no, and she meant it, and he did not listen to well, so she is going to distance herself from Chris now. She mentioned Chris is trying to be something that he isn't, and if he was himself she probably could like him more.
JASON COMES TO A REALIZATION
After the above, I didn't remember if I was watching "Tough Enough" or "Real World WWF". But quickly I was reminded it was "Tough Enough" when Jason (another of my favorites) was seen pondering over a tough decision.
"Big" John arrived for a visit and was greeted by the contestant's, when Jason asked to speak to him alone. So they go upstairs and have a heart to heart talk about Jason's decision.
Jason explained to "Big" John that he took Hunter's speech seriously and the speech made him question if he had what it took to actually follow through on this competition. And Triple H stated for them not to waste the WWF's time and money if they did not have what it took. And Jason explained he didn't think he had what it would take to follow through on this with all of what Triple H described the lifestyle to be. Jason asked "Big" John if what Triple H had stated was accurate, and "Big" John told him what Triple H said was true. Jason knew it was time.
Jason shakes "Big" John's hand and drops out of the competition.
THE SHOCK
The rest of the contestant's are shocked Jason has dropped out and Paulina comments that if Jason can not do this, she doesn't know if she can. It came as a great surprise to all of them. Darryl the Clown showed he had no respect for even the other contestant's by making a comment that it was better overall for him since Jason dropped out and that means there is one less spot left for him to beat out. I've got news for you Darryl, you won't ever make it! And if you do, hopefully the boys will work you stiff and hurt you.
BACK AT TRAXX
Al Snow talks about how since they are one less, what he is about to do will become a ritual in the weeks that follow. He grabbed the empty chair and placed it on the side for us all to see the empty chair. It will be neat to see all the other empty chairs filling the walls up in the weeks to come.
They are asked to take some bumps for Snow, Jackie, and Tori again and all comply.
