LAST TIME... ON TOUGH ENOUGH
The show began with a recap from last weeks episode as always.
IN WITH THE NEW
Scott was still at the hospital and he told us the doctor told him he was out six to eight weeks and he was done. Scott said he was not going to allow a simple thumb injury to knock him out of the Tough Enough competition.
TRAX WEST
Al Snow told them he was going to show them a standing hip toss. Snow was in the ring doing this on Matt. Matt said it is fast paced now and he is starting to pick up things quickly.
Ivory said Jonah makes a big sound when he falls down. Snow said if Jonah focused himself he had a lot of potential to be a WWE Superstar. Chad took a bad looking bump off the hip toss and Snow pointed it out to him it looked crappy. Bill DeMott told us at this point they refer to Chad as "Beeker" from the Muppets because he looks like him. Chad said he is lacking in having a wrestling personality. Al told us Chad has the personality of a car salesman and he doesn't think they get to see who he really is (I guess Snow was trying to say he fronts and isn't being himself). Chad said it wasn't good that they call him a car salesman and insurance salesman. Snow said he and Bill rib Chad all the time to see if they can get him to crack now.
BACK AT THE HOUSE
Scott was in his room when Jonah & Eric came in. Jonah asked him how his finger was and mentioned he must have really hurt it. Jonah wanted to know if he broke it and Scott told him that he tore ligaments in it. Scott said even if his hand hurts tomorrow he is going to go through it and compete. Rebekah was talking to Justin about not being socialable with the others and she explained to us she doesn't feel as if she is connected with the group because they do not follow her beliefs. Jonah told us Rebekah has been withdrawn from all of the other room mates. Rebekah told us she would be lying if she said the people in the house were the kind of people she would be friends with if she wasn't here (reminds me of how Nowinski felt about the people in his house, and we know that was one of the reasons why he did not win the competition in the end). Rebekah called home and talked about how she did not feel any "Christian fellowship" in the house and it was more important to her to read her bible then to do anything else with the rest of the group. Justin told us they all went out Saturday night.
BRAZILIAN STEAKHOUSE
They all went to a Brazilian steakhouse and Big suggested they have a meat eating contest. Jonah ended up winning it. Jonah said he was stupid and stubborn trying to win the thing and he always does that and he won, but then he tossed his cookies in the bath room. He said he should have just tapped out early and enjoyed his food.
THE CLUB AFTER
They went to Miyagi's after to drink and dance. Rebekah got up on the bar and started to dance. Some of the group commented that she was a hypocrite for expounding on her beliefs to them while behaving in that fashion in public. Rebekah before she did this told us she thought all of them should be concerned about how people view them in public (wow she makes a lot of sense. So she wants the public to view her as a table dancer, got it). Kelly said she was confused about Rebekah because on the one hand she always says women should act lady like, and then in the next instant she is dancing on the bar like a "hoochi mama". John said that took him by surprise because he was not expecting that out of her at all (Editor's Note: Of course this is good for her in the respect this is the type of stuff WWE likes out of their diva's. Rebekah would be along the lines of a Stacy Keibler in my opinion). Kelly said Rebekah looked like a stripper but she was not sure if she was a hypocrite yet, but she was certainly very misleading (Editor's Note: If Kelly is against such behavior, why is she attempting to become a WWE DIVA?? They do that stuff all of the time. Obviously, looking like a 'stripper' is a positive in this business and not a negative!).
John said it is like she forms her own belief system to what she wants and then labels is "Christian". We see Scott over taking shot after shot of alcohol. Scott told us he decided to drink the night away because he was feeling miserable. Scott went to take another shot and Bill DeMott took it for himself. Matt said Scott was falling over himself when they were all leaving he was so drunk.
We see him stumbling to the car and Kelly asked him if he was okay and then we see him stumbling in to the house.
IT TURNS SERIOUS BOYS
Scott had wet his pants on the trip back from the bar and the rest of the house was making light of the situation and joking about it. The girls were calling each other in to his room to take a peak at how he had wet his pants. IT became a huge joke in the house. But then things turned serious when Scott wasn't moving and started to convulse in his bed.
EMT'S ON THE SCENE
The EMT's came to revive Scott and took him away in an ambulance. We see them working on Scott with all of the group sitting around with stone cold looks on their faces.
BACK AT HOME
Scott came back home but did not explain to any one what exactly was wrong with him the night prior. It looked like it was simple alcohol poisoning (which is serious and you can die from). He drank so much in such a short period of time he probably overloaded his entire system and went in to shock. Scott told us he was going to give up drinking from this point forward (lets see if he can actually do that). Kelly said it wasn't good and Justin said he probably had alcohol poisoning.
THE ARGUMENT
Nick told us that night Scott and Rebekah had a big argument. Scott had mentioned he was in the "Asian Club" and Rebekah decided this was wrong and meant he was 'racist'. Her logic was that if she was in a club called "the White Club" he would consider that to be racist. It is the old argument people like to make about reverse discrimination, which holds some water in the right circumstance. But in this case it doesn't, because the "Asian Club" isn't about racism. It is like the "Chess Club". Scott brought up the fact that Rebekah claims to be a total "Christian" but yet she dances on tables and bars and was a Hooter's girl (which is a very good point to make in my opinion).
Rebekah was offended because she doesn't think being a Hooter's girl means she isn't "Christian" (well in some circles one would have to wonder why someone who was "so religious" was virtually using her body to make a ton of cash).
Nick said he thought Rebekah's comment was a little bit outlandish and did not need to be said. Rebekah said Scott was disrespectful to her.
BACK AT TRAX WEST
Scott told Big & Snow he had to wear the brace by doctors orders on his thumb at all times, but he would rather take it off if he could. He told us he did not want the injury to cause him to lose and would amputate the thumb if need be. Snow and Big told him he should keep the brace on if they told him to. They told him there was no reason to take it off.
Scott told us that Jonah being the big talker that he is made some comments about how he could pin everyone. So they decided to put him against Scott & John in a three way match to prove it.
THREE WAY MATCH
We see all three tussling back and forth attempting to do amateur wrestling. All of them get banged up at various points in the match. Snow told us this was the "worst amateur wrestling" he had ever seen. John knocked out Scott with a take down and he also wrenched Jonah's neck really good during the match. Jonah was so banged up from it he threw up and had to sit out the rest of the training. He wasn't a happy camper about this.
QUESTION ABOUT JONAH
Jonah threw up because his neck was wrenched in a grapevine by John during a match. I didn't really think much of it last night but now while thinking about it for a while. What does this say about his Toughness? Certainly this would happen in a real match. Is he going to feel that way and throw up on television? That wouldn't be a good thing at all.
BACK BUMPS
We see them all in the ring doing their back bumps and front bumps. That was when Jonah told us each time you sit out you lose something and miss out on something and he was unhappy they would not allow him to get back in and train.
BACK AT THE HOUSE
Rebekah called home and found out her mothers home was going to be foreclosed on. Her Aunt told her not to worry about it because if it was taken away it was part of God's plan. She felt bad since she was not there for her mother at this time and questioned if she should stay at the competition or go back to help.
BACK AT TRAX WEST
John told them they have had a good two weeks and learned a lot and this is a competition and they would make a cut tomorrow. Matt said at that moment they looked around and wondered who would go. Scott said he knew at that moment he was going to be cut. Nick told us he thought the first to go would be Scott. Justin said this is Tough Enough and wetting your pants isn't Tough Enough. Kelly said she thinks Rebekah is hoping she will get cut because she is having family problems. John said he feels Chad will get cut because he just doesn't have a personality. Matt said he thinks Scott has come a long way and he is allowing his personality to shine through and that is a good thing.
SCOTT IS THE MAN
Scott was goofing around in the ring with Al Snow and told him he wanted to show him the "drunken tiger punch". Scott began doing some odd ball karate moves. Scott hit Snow in the stomach and Snow asked sarcastically "Why did you hit me?" and Scott came back with that he had not learned how to throw punches yet. Scott said when he hits Snow he had to be like this, and then began acting like he had been hit in the ring bouncing off the corner buckle to the mat (looked good and hilarious). Scott said "I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but I am the brightest crayon in the box" and had them all laughing out loud. This guy is going to go far if he makes it because of his personality.
JONAH CAN'T DO IT RIGHT
We see Jonah trying to do the front bump but he couldn't get it right. He kept messing it up. Jonah said from that point on he was thinking it was over with, that he was done and finished. Big told them they were going to do some conditioning with Bill & Ivory up in the mountains and asked how hard it would be. Ivory said it would be a 9.5 out of 10, and Big told them if Jonah could do the front bump right he could knock it down to a 6.5. Jonah failed and that was that.
CONDITIONING
The group had to run with heavy bags on their shoulders and do some calisthenics on demand. Bill told them every Tuesday they would be doing this and this was the easiest Tuesday they would have. This was intense and awesome to watch. It was more brutal then the Optimum training last year.
THE CUT
Ivory said Rebekah gives it her all and she has a great look for a WWE DIVA.
Bill said John was probably the most fundamentally sound kid they have on the competition.
Ivory said it comes natural for Jamie to be aggressive.
Bill said Eric has got it.
Al said Matt seems to be born to be in the ring.
Bill said he likes Justin and would like to see what happens.
Al said the biggest disadvantage Scott has is not his lack of height it is his lack of emotional maturity.
Bill said Jonah started off a little cocky and realized he was not as big as he thought he was.
Ivory said Kelly is not performing as well as the other competitors.
Al said Chad is just a big guy and there is nothing there. Bill said he hasn't proved to him he wants to be here and he seems to lack in internal aggression.
STAND UP AND SIT DOWN
Al went around (like last year) telling them to either sit down or they were cut. He paused on Scott for a while and then went over to Chad and told him he did not have what it takes to be a WWE superstar and he was cut. Al went back to Scott and told him to sit down.
Chad said when it was down to him and Scott he knew it was going to be him and he didn't have a chance. Al told us he thinks Chad is the prime example of what people think this business is all about (a big guy) but it isn't about that anymore and you need to have a personality as well. Al said despite Chad's advantage of being 6'10 he did not have any other advantages to him. Chad said even though they just ran their bodies in the ground and beat them up hard this was one of the greatest experience of his life.
