LAST TIME... ON TOUGH ENOUGH
We begin with a recap of last weeks edition as always.
Lisa opened the show telling us she is so excited and happy to wake up every day in the Tough Enough house and the trainers are so great and she loves the housemates.
Jamie was out on the patio with two guys talking about sleeping on the patio, because she didn't want to sleep in the same room as Scott.
Scott came out and called them "fags" saying, "did you fags take all of the chairs?" and Jamie told him it was disrespectful for him to call them 'fags'. She told us she gets along with everyone in the house but Scott. Then the walking cartoon asked Jamie if she was "on the pill". The two guys cracked up in disbelief about the question and Jamie asked him what he had asked her. Scott told us he had seen her naked and feels that it made an 'unusual connection' between the two right there. Then Scott asked her if she had ever used the female condom. The two guys were wondering aloud "who is this guy?" and Jamie told Scott he had to really rethink those questions before he asked them.
Justin told us that Scott walked in on Jamie getting in to the shower and thus he was moved out of the room with her and put in to the room with Jonah and Eric.
NEW ROOM ACCOMODATIONS
We see Scott unpacking his stuff with Jonah & Eric present. Joanh said Scott definitely brings a different element to everything. Scott asked if he could go hang his clothes, and Eric told him he could do anything his heart desires. Scott asked if Eric or Jonah could help him hang his clothes. Jonah looked puzzled at this and Eric joked with Jonah to go help Scott. Scott told us he thinks he is the person in the house for them to pick on.
TRAINING AT TRAX WEST
Al Snow told them in this business they live and die by their work and if they make a bet they better not squelch on it. Matt said Al Snow told them all about how little side bets go on in the business and he decided to make one with Jonah. He bet Jonah could not beat him in the run. If Jonah won, Matt had to shave his head and if Matt won Jonah had to do his impression of Bill DeMott. DeMott was serious and told Jonah he had better win the bet or else. Matt told us Jonah was a bit nervous because of how Bill was acting.
We see them running. Jonah was sprinting in to the front. DeMott said if Jonah lost he would do his impersonation of him and he would sit on his face. Snow began laughing. DeMott told us Jonah beat Matt around for the first lap and was smiling thinking he had won but Matt was right behind him with a bigger smile knowing he had him beat. Jonah had run himself out. DeMott told Matt to pass him and make him work. Matt won the bet and Jonah had to do his impersonation of DeMott in the ring. DeMott gave him hell about having to do the impersonation and told him he was a BIG LOSER.
THE IMPERSONATION
Jonah told Bill he would do him good, but Bill just looked at him stone-faced. Eric told us DeMott had some signature reactions in the ring, we saw them in a video package as he was saying this.
We see Jonah doing his impersonation of DeMott bouncing around the ring and doing all of DeMott's signature reactions (facial expressions). It was hilarious it was so dead on. Bill explained to us what was going on when Jonah was doing his impersonation, saying Jonah was doing it 'pale-white' because all through it he was looking at Bill who was looking back at him with a stone-cold look on his face.
At the end DeMott went up to him and shook his hand and told him "that was funny as shit!" and hugged him. Snow was laughing and DeMott told him not to ever do that again.
WORKING IN THE RING
They began working in the ring and Snow told us they were all adapting well in the ring. Al told us Scott had grown quite a bit in the last few weeks. Scott said this was all a tremendous learning experience.
Rebekah said she thought they were all coming along slowly but surely.
Lisa was in the ring messing up. Snow stopped her from doing it the wrong way. Snow told us Lisa is an athlete that is obvious but she is tight in the ring. We see her taking bumps and landing the wrong way. Snow told us she was not keeping up with the rest of the group and that was hurting her and if she didn't start to keep up she would get cut.
DeMott yelled at her to get involved with the training program because what she was doing looked like crap. Snow stopped her again and asked her if she couldn't do two things at once, and he told her he was being totally serious about the question. Lisa told us today was a rough day and she thought she was going to die.
ITS NO LAUGHING MATTER
Al told us they were going to start with the bare basics and it was the little things that would separate these kids from others in the business.
We see them all training in the ring doing headlocks, head-scissors and takedowns. Lisa kept on screwing up and laughing at her mistakes.
Chad said it is a lot more interactive this week working with one another and actually almost putting matches together.
Eric said what she was doing was not how she should react to mistakes. He said after you screw up and make a mistake you do not put a smile on your face or laugh. Matt thought she was slowing everybody else down and would start laughing and acting like everything was a big joke. DeMott asked them if they remembered what they told them at the start of the day, and the group said "Stay intense". They group had to run because Lisa wasn't intense and screwed up.
DeMott made it clear the one reason they were going to run was because Lisa had laughed and after five hours when everybody had done it and she couldn't, to stand up and laugh about it was a bunch of BS.
Nick said if one person screwed up they all had to work out afterwards and he wasn't happy. All through this Lisa had a goofy smirk-grin on her face (I think they should have cut her myself).
We see them all running. Nick also said Lisa did not apologize for any of what she did to cause them to have to run.
LETS GO OUT
Chad said it was a long week and they were all tired but they all had decided to go out as a group. The rule was that if everybody did not agree to go out, none of them could go out. Jonah said he did not think Lisa would want to go out because she had not talked to one person the entire night. Justin went to talk to Lisa and found her on her bed listening to music. He explained the situation and how they all decided to go out but needed her to agree to it as well.
Justin told her about the rule of everyone going out or no one going out and she said, "then its only my problem". Justin said "Holy shit" because she had that reaction. She said she didn't feel like going out before she said that. Justin said he walked out in disbelief because he could not believe she said that. She had that look on her face again. Justin went back and told the others who were in disbelief as well. So the group decided to go out anyway.
GOING OUT
They all got ready to go out and left. We saw Lisa sitting outside alone while the others were driving. Eric & Jonah made a bet with Scott that he could not get a legit number from a girl who was interested in him before they could. If they won he had to wear a women's bathing suit the next day at the beach and if he won they would have too. Scott accepted the bet.
Scott told Jonah he would think about it and make his decision when they got to the place they were going. Jonah said it would be very surprising to him if Scott got a number because of everything that comes out his mouth. Scott eventually accepted the bet and they all shook hands on it in front of the rest of the group.
BACK AT THE HOUSE
We see Lisa. She says she is struggling and it is hard for her to deal with all of this. We see her trying to call someone who does not answer. She looks mentally drained.
BACK WITH THE GROUP
Scott yelled "How are you ladies doing tonight" and waived. It did not look good for Scott to win the bet. Jonah groaned at this behavior. Matt said they go to the Saddle Ranch and with in ten minutes Scott was talking to a girl. Matt said Jonah & Eric were flipping out because they were in disbelief Scott was going to beat them. Scott was running around looking for a pen. Matt said he went and told Eric & Jonah they were done. Scott was bragging about how he got the number. He had the number written on his forearm and then he showed us he didn't only get one number but he got another as well. Rebekah said Jonah & Eric were pitching a fit thinking this could not be right (trying to get out of the bet).
DODGING A BET
After the discussion Al Snow talked to them about side bets being a part of the business, Jonah & Eric belly ached about losing a bet they CAME UP WITH. All night they tried to convince Scott to let them out of the bet. Scott just wanted to go to sleep. In the morning they still tried to get him to let them out of the bet, but he would not budge.
LISA IS MISSING
The group discovered Lisa was missing at around 2AM. She was still gone when the morning rolled around.
Matt said things were not clicking for Lisa in the ring and Kelly thought something had to be wrong.
Eric & Jonah were still trying to get out of the bet with no luck at all.
BIG'S CONFESSION
John showed up 2 hours early and informed the group that he had gotten a phone call from Lisa and she had quit the competition. Matt was puzzled at why she would quit.
Jamie said she was a little sad because she got to know Lisa and it was sad she was gone. Kelly said she wasn't sad because this is a competition and it increases her chances to win.
WOMEN'S GARMENTS FOR JONAH & ERIC
Jonah & Eric come down wearing women's bathing suits (hilarious moment). Big called Eric 'Erica' and Jonah 'Joanie'. Jonah looked really hilarious looking. The group was playing volleyball at the beach when Scott landed wrong and hurt his thumb.
HOSPITAL VISIT
Scott was told he tore a ligament in his thumb and it would require 6-8 weeks to heal. Scott decided to tough it out because he could not afford to take the time off to allow it to heal. We will have to wait and see if this is going to effect his training. It will be tough for Scott to pick people up now. And that might be the deciding factor to eliminate him from the competition. The show ended with the injury to Scott and the discussion with the doctor on what this would mean.
COMMENTS
I think right now I would pick Jonah or Matt to win on the male side and Rebekah on the female side. But it is still to early to tell. Next week there will be a cut.
